I'm sorry to tell...

I'm sorry to tell this but we-the committee members had decide to cancel most of the awards due to the problem we had yesterday except for the King and Queen awards, the others are canceled after taking this thing seriously in the committee meeting today.

And for the King and Queen awards, we are going to do it manually so, it will be fair and everyone can only vote once! We will update soon on how the voting will be done and when it will be done.

Sorry for the inconvinience that some people created. thank you so much.

Can't you read or what?

It is so not fair to the other nominees that you do such thing to them. Why is it so hard to just accept that no one from smart want to vote for you untill you have to ask some other people to vote for you here? Do you get the satisfaction of wining by cheating like this? I think there are few posts in this blog that strictly say that no other students from any other school or any other outsiders are allowed to vote on the blog. Don't you get it?

I'm going to have a meeting with the committee tommorow and i'll decide if i should just delete this vote system and just do the manual voting system at school!

Guidelines For Semi-Formal Event

Hallo,Kayrol is here.Here's my 1st post for this blog.I would like to share the guidelines for our event..It's basically a semi-formal event.So i guess here is some tips to share with all of you,guys specifically.


Semi-formal attire can be expressed by wearing either a long-sleeves shirt,basically a buttons shirt,full suit or a button shirt with vest.It's is optional.While the bottom,you might considered slacks,a formal khakis or a dark coloured jeans.A cowboy jeans(bright blue in colour) is not suitable for the event.It's up to us to decide our own attire. A tie, either bow or straight,can be optionally worn, and the shirt should be a simple button down.It is not necessary to wear a tuxedo, and one might be considered a bit overdressed for a semi-formal event showing up in a tux,based on my experiences.

Semi-formal also means the attire is a conservative, usually dark, color and without a loud or any unnecessary pattern (checks would not be semi-formal, but a thin pin stripe could be).So,'kotak-kotak' shirt is not suitable for the event.You might also prefered a dark coloured jacket and a blazer.It can be match with buttons shirt and either a slack or dark coloured jeans.T shirt is not allowed for the event.For shoes,a black leather shoes is the best for the event.Slippers and CROCS shoes are prohibited.We might think this is just a semi-formal event,but we should respects our own event.This event is made for us.So,wear a proper attires.

Last but not least,
alcohol,drugs,'rokok' or any illegal stuff is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.We do not want any of us to ruins the event.We will get your ass out from the hall if there any of you didn't follow the rules.So think smart,be a good boy..:)

Here are some new update for all form 5 smartians:

1. The dress code had been changed to SEMI-FORMAL. this means, for guys and girls, DARK coloured jeans are aloowed but bare it in your mind, dark coloured jeans only.
2. The last date to make your payment is on this Wednesday. confirmed your attendance by tomorrow and make your payment asap!
3. Any performance from anyone would be delighty welcomed and please let hidayah know by giving your name to her.

Alright people. Regarding the awards and voting, please please please be fair to the other nominees and do not get your friends from other schools or whatever to vote for you and please do not try in any way to sabotage the nominations and number of votes.
The awards are for people from OUR batch in OUR school and not for the whole of Kuantan.
And what's important for the night is that all of you have fun and enjoy yourselves, and NOT who is most popular or pretty or all that. The committee decided to put up awards for everyone's amusement and to spice up the night. Graduation night is not a competition.
If the committee chooses to redo the votes or anything, please do not complain or curse or decide not to come to the night dan seangkatan dengannya. We are trying to keep the peace and to be fair to everybody.

Frequently Asked Questions!

1. What do I need to wear for the night? What is exactly an Arabian Hollywood Glam?

It is not necessary for you to wear jubah or purdah or kopiah or whatsoever. Our theme is actually a Hollywood Glam OR Arabian. You can just wear something formal like a blazer with slacks. But remember, it has to be STRICTLY formal! Which means NO jeans, NO slippers, NO t-shirts! And etc.


2. Memang kena pakai tudung, ye?

It is advisable for you to wear a tudung. The teachers had marked their words. There's nothing we can do for that, sorry! :(


3. I want to make a performance!

Tell Imani or Wen Jun. Then we'll arrange it up for you! ;) *I don't think any more singing performance is allowed though! Try doing a short sketch or dancing or something else.


4. Hidayah, what song are you gonna sing?

I have no idea.

These are the few things that most of you would love to know:

1. The registration before the eid is just for us(committee) to know how many are really going to the graduation night.
2. The fees will be collected right after eid by your class representatives.
3. The theme is Hollywood Arabian Nights but your attire should be formal, not semi-formal but FORMAL. this mean, no jeans, no sandals, no t-shirts. 
4. Any suggestions for anything; please let any of the committees know and we will consider every suggestions.
5. If there are anyone who want to perform on the night, please let us know so that we could arrange you in any slots.
6. Any other inquiries, please contact any of the committee members at the number on the previous post or at any social page.

How do i nominate?

-Simply insert a name, email address of the nominee and preferably a photo of him or her because there are people *cough cough* who don't know everyone in the block.

How do i vote?
- After the nomination period have closed, polls will be added to this blog, on the left hand side and just click away!

What is formal attire?
-(No guys, i'm not going to upload pics ) For guys, its just a button down shirt with slacks and a tie or jazz it up with a vest, tux, bow tie? Whatever you want.
Girls, on the other hand is a little bit tricky because you don't want to be too risque or revealing. Its smart after all. Any dresses will do or go for Arabic glam!
